The Department for Transport has announced changes regarding theory tests for learner car drivers and motorcycle riders. We can help you with this. From the 3rd of September 2007, the number of multiple choice questions has increased from 35 to 50.The pass mark is now set at 43 out of 50. The time allowed to complete this element of the test has increased to 57 minutes but additional time is also be allowed for persons with reading difficulties. The additional questions will cover such subjects as unlicensed and uninsured driving, eco driving and environmental issues and new motorway signage. First aid, health and driver licensing that are covered in the existing test will now be covered in greater depth. The fee has increased to £30.00. To practise your theory, click here.
